Friendly,helpful staff, and a lovely, peaceful resort. The restaurant has a good range of dishes and drinks and the riverside location is stunning. Great pool with slide too - lots of fun!

The area is a very nice place in nature, the room has been simple but clean. The service at the reception was very nice and supportive. They helped us to organize a jungle tour on short notice. Restaurant, service and food is a complete disaster. Service staff doesn't speak a word English. We have been there twice and both evenings ended in a total catastrophe. On the second evening we ordered red and green curry. We got green curry and a pork soup. After our complaint they started to produce the red curry. One hour later they told us that something went wrong in the kitchen and we have to order something else. The enclosed rice was served already an hour earlier and became cold and dry in the meantime. We decided to go hungry to bed. No apologies, no kind words, not even a charged free tea or drink was offered. Sorry guys, this was nothing - really nothing!

We stayed in the jacuzzi suite because the other rooms were sold out. This is a great thing because covid has been so hard on tourism. The river is high right now during rainy season and we saw many rafts going down the river. It is somewhat dangerous right now with fast current. The room was pretty nice. Comfortable bed and pillows, good refrigerator, and the jacuzzi was ok with the exception of losing hot water for awhile. Note, there is no other shower area, so you shower in the tub with a hand held shower. Outside the room the grounds are well kept and there is a pool table and water slide here which is fun. The staff here is exceptional. Very friendly and helpful at all times. I thought the tv was a little small and the decor could use updating from 'classic woodsy'. The area around here is great with a huge lake nearby and great food.
